An online tool that will analyse your finances and help you manage your money
What are its uses?
The budget planner can be used
- to work out how much money you have coming in and highlight how and what you spend it on.
- to make comparisons and explore different expenditure scenarios / plan for the future
- to help you with any change in financial circumstances
What information do I need to start my budget plan?
All sources of income, these should include salary, wages, benefits, tax credits, pensions, child maintenance, non-dependent contributions etc
All expenditure details including, mortgage, rent, council tax, food, housekeeping, utilities, travel, motoring costs, clothing, telephone, maintenace, pets, haircuts, leisure
How do I use the budget planner?
Just put your income sources and expenditure figures in the appropriate boxes and the planner will calculate the rest for you
Click on the down the left hand side where necessary for further information or click on the to expand a section.
Saving and Printing
If you want to save your budget sheet online, you will need to log-in first (or sign-up if you haven't already done so).
If you don't want to do this, you can still open your completed budget sheet in Word and save it to your computer or print it (though this won't automatically calculate figures for you).
